On July 16 from 11:00am to 12:00pm (US eastern time) the RBL Institute will hold a mini forum call on “What will a career in HR look like?”
A career in HR today is dramatically different than it was just a decade ago. The nature of work has radically changed through globalization, technology, and workforce demographics to name just a few. HR professionals face a wide range of challenges every day that require a vast array of experiences and skills in order to be successful. Companies are revamping who they recruit into the function as well as how they are developed, over time.
During the call, we will address two questions, upon which participants should be prepared to provide their point of view:
• What does a career in HR look like within your company today? How has it changed as your business has evolved and how do you see it evolving in the next 2-3 years?
• What are you doing to prepare HR professionals to effectively manage their personal careers as organizations continue to morph at a rapid pace?
PARTICIPANTS: Each RBL Institute member company is allowed to register/nominate ONE person to be the “spokesperson” for this call. Ideal participants include: CHROs, Corporate HR Leadership, Regional HR Leaders, Center of Expertise Leaders, Leadership Development Professionals, or other Senior HR Professionals who can share your organization’s efforts in this area.
