On February 21st from 11:00am to 12:00pm (US eastern time) the RBL Institute will hold a mini forum call on “Leadership in turbulent times.”
There are many forces at play around the world that are currently influencing how we think and act; many of these forces seemingly driving us apart. They include the increased use of tariffs across national borders, harsh public criticism of others’ points of view, heightened sensitivity to inequality, and inappropriate behaviors in the workplace, to name just a few. In these times of turbulence and uncertainty, many leaders feel added pressure and have a hard time navigating through this increasingly complex social, political, and business context. Ideally, leaders must be keenly aware of these dynamics and learn how to lead through turbulent times to mitigate the risk of disrupting the business.
During the call, we will address two questions, upon which participants should be prepared to provide their point of view:
• What are the top challenges your leaders are experiencing as they navigate in today’s dynamic social, political, and business environment? What qualities do you find are most important for leaders to demonstrate during turbulent and uncertain times?
• How do you support and coach your leaders to navigate through uncertainty? What is HR doing to proactively equip leaders to role model behaviors that are the cornerstone of the right social corporate citizenship?
PARTICIPANTS: Each RBL Institute member company is allowed to register/nominate ONE person to be the “spokesperson” for this call. Ideal participants include: CHROs, Corporate HR Leadership, Regional HR Leaders, HR Business Partners, Leadership Development Professionals, or other Senior HR Professionals who can share your organization’s efforts in this area.
