Designing
an Academy

We want to help you design and deliver a development program that's specific to your organization's needs and builds leaders who embody your leadership brand. With your team, we'll customize the academy to target skill gaps and ensure that your leaders are equipped to deliver sustainable value to your organization. Design Process Infographic
We'll start by learning about your
organization and identifying what your
leaders need to know and do to deliver value.
We'll work with your design team to build
a curriculum for the academy using content
from our five Leadership Code learning modules.
Together, we'll design a full academy experience
that incorporates customized coursework,
application assignments, action learning projects,
and individual coaching.

Assessing Leaders

Participants use our Leadership Code 360 and MENTOR® Leadership Battery assessments to evaluate their strengths and opportunities for growth in their performance relative to current and future job requirements and use the results to identify development priorities. We can also create a custom 360 assessment based on your organization's competency model. Request an assessment demo

Coaching
and Individual
Development Plans

Participants work with coaches to create an Individual Development Plan based on the results of their assessments that identifies experiential learning opportunities and provides a blueprint for meeting their individual development goals. Coaches will continue to meet with participants throughout the academy to review their progress and revise the plans as necessary. Sample Development Plan

Development Modules

The participants will attend a series of customized Leadership Code workshops designed to build and reinforce effective leadership skills and help your leaders embody your organization's leadership brand. These engaging and interactive workshops require participants to apply the material to specific and relevant business issues. Workshop Components

Action Learning Projects

To implement and reinforce lessons learned in the classroom, participants will work in groups on projects sponsored by their leaders that address current business issues and make a tangible impact in the organization. As they work on these projects, participants will receive ongoing support and direction from leaders and coaches. Sample Action Learning Projects

Measurement

At the end of the program, participants will take a follow-up 360 assessment to help them articulate the progress made during the course of the program and its impact on their personal leadership effectiveness. This process encourages individual accountability for acting on their development plans. Additional Measurement Examples

Graduation and Beyond

All participants who demonstrate improvement attend a graduation event where they can share the results of their projects, hear from their leaders, and highlight their accomplishments. All program participants will receive a certificate of completion.

To sustain their growth and development after the formal academy experience ends, participants will have access to RBL's learning library, the materials presented during the workshops, and additional coaching support. Sample Graduation Certificate
