Playbook on Innovation

The RBL Institute recently held its first Think Tank session of 2012 in London on "Sustaining Innovation: Individual, Organizational, and HR Implications." At this session, Dave Ulrich & Norm Smallwood addressed why innovation matters, the "DNA of Innovators," and how to create a culture of innovation. Save the Date: April Think Tank in New York City

Our second Think Tank session of 2012 will take place on April 24 & 25 in New York City. At this Think Tank, Dave Ulrich & Jon Younger will share RBL's recent research findings from the Human Resource Competency Study. This session will provide insights on what it takes to be an effective HR professional. The 2012 or sixth round of the Human Resource Competency Study (HRCS) identifies six fundamental competency domains that HR professionals must demonstrate to impact business performance. We now have a dedicated website for information about the 2012 Human Resource Competency Study - the world's largest database on HR competencies. For the past twenty–five years the Human Resource Competency Study (HRCS) has answered the question: What knowledge and abilities are necessary for successful HR professionals? Led by Professors Dave Ulrich and Wayne Brockbank, The RBL Group and the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with the assistance of global research partners, the HRCS is the largest global study on HR competencies. We also recently launched a website with additional resources based on the findings from the 2011 Top Companies For Leaders Study. On the site you will find information about the history of the study, additional articles on leadership, and information about the 2011 results. Initiated in 2001 by Hewitt Associates (now Aon Hewitt) and conducted in partnership with The RBL Group and Fortune since 2007, the Top Companies For Leaders Study examines best-in-class leadership and talent strategies, practices, and outcomes of companies around the world. Organizational Design Consultant Certification Program

RBL's Organizational Design Consultant Certification program is a time-proven approach to increase your organization design skills in a short period of time.
