Helping HR Professionals Become Culture and Change Stewards

When

Nov 04, 2010

Our Premise: The RBL’s HR Competency Model, based on extensive research over the last decade, identifies six key competencies of highly effective HR professionals. One of the key competencies centers on being a “culture and change steward.” Key factors associated with being an effective culture and change steward include: facilitating change, crafting culture, enacting culture, and personalizing culture. In this age of uncertainty and accelerating organizational change, HR’s role in these areas is more important than ever. HR professionals need to be able to proactively recognize, articulate, and help shape a company’s culture. They must also understand the needs of their external customers, be able to translate customer needs into clear expectations for the organization and its employees, and enable the necessary changes in mindsets and behaviors.
