From HR Strategy to HR Priorities

If there is a downside to HR’s increasing importance in the organization, it is the deluge of requests and projects coming from the line leaders. This ever-increasing demand can overload HR departments and leave their results substandard. Going forward HR leaders will need to make the tough strategic decisions to focus their energy on the highest value-add work and say no to the rest.

On our recent RBL Institute call we spoke with some of the leaders in HR from Accenture, Comcast, Gap, GBMC, Invensys, Kraft, and PWC about how they are successfully prioritizing HR deliverables within their organizations. This paper provides a brief summary of our conversation.
