Creating an HR Balanced Scorecard

When

May 22, 2012

On May 22 from 10:00am to 11:00am (New York time) will we hold a mini-forum call on “Creating a Balanced Scorecard for HR.”  Traditional corporate scorecards often fail to capture the HR metrics that impact a firm’s strategic success.  During this call we will address HR scorecards by focusing on HR analytics: What to measure and how to measure as applied to the impact of the HR function on the firm’s strategic success.  Both firm level outcomes and HR line manager practices, which impact these outcomes, will be discussed.  Specific metric examples will be provided for the workforce, strategic talent, and line managers as well as the HR function.

Participants should be prepared to discuss the following set of questions:

1. What metrics, if you had them, could be used to intervene in your firm and have an impact on the success of its business strategy?

2.  How, where, and who creates customer and economic value for your firm?

3.  How are you now measuring the following?

• Workforce mindset?
• Talent success?
• Line manager’s success in managing their workforces?
• The success of the HR function?

4.  What are you measuring about HR and the workforce now and what decisions are you making that impact the success of your organization?

PARTICIPANTS:

Each RBL Institute member company is allowed to register ONE person to participate in this call.  Ideal participants include: senior HR leaders, HR functional experts, and workforce analytics professionals.  The participant should come prepared to share their point of view on the questions.
